Stations of the Cross: Lent at Home Devotions

Wednesday,  April 1st 2020:

Our Journeys through these fourteen stations come to a conclusion this week as we look upon and take in these last four stations. Lent and especially these stations always appear to end rather heavily and no doubt solemnly with somber feelings. But like the last image of that Thai Soccer team from just a few years ago, Lent does not end without that sliver of light peeking through. We know what is just right around the bend.

We know what awaits us at the end of next week. Easter dawn is upon us, no matter where our physical presence may actually be. Christ’s light always shines perpetually, even when things seem darker still. So, as we finish these stations today, and as our month of April is said to be one of shelter, I still find that light in Christ, I still find that light within this community. May we all continue to walk with Christ, both in times past and today.

Wednesday,  March 25th 2020:

Like last week’s devotion below, I invite you open both of the PDF documents linked in the buttons below. I’d recommend opening the ‘At Home Devotion’ document first and then ‘Walking Guide.’ For this Wednesday, we continue our journey by taking in stations 6-10.

Wednesday,  March 18th 2020:

First: Open the ‘Lent At Home Devotion” and take in each station. Then, open the ‘Stations Walking Guide’ and partake in the liturgy. We’ll update each week here, as we continue to ‘walk’ through all fourteen stations.
