Alleluia! Christ is Risen Indeed! We welcome you to worship this weekend with the Lutheran Church of the Master for the 7th Sunday of Easter/Ascension Sunday! Jesus has been raised from the dead and has appeared in a variety of ways to convince people of God’s power. On Ascension Day, Jesus is taken to heaven, but not without promises and action plans for those who remain. Wait here! You will receive power to be witnesses throughout the whole earth. You will receive a spirit of wisdom and revelation as you come to know God. You will receive an inheritance. You will know hope. You, the church, are Christ Jesus’ body, even as his body disappears from sight.

It is my hope that you have each had the opportunity to download the resources for this Season of Resurrection to prepare either your at home worship spaces or for worship in the building. I also hope that wherever you spend your sabbath that it is fulfilling for you as today promises to be an inspiring morning. For our liturgy today I invite you to please download and open the worship guide to fully participate as you too are a vital participant in today’s liturgy. Peace & Blessings Dear Church ~ Pastor Dave
