Welcome to Lutheran Church of the Master for the 7th Sunday after Pentecost! Persistence in prayer is encouraged by Jesus and wins the attention of God when Abraham intercedes for Sodom. The life of the baptized—to be rooted and built up in Christ Jesus—is to be nurtured with prayer. God hears and answers prayer and so strengthens God’s own. “When I called, you answered me; you increased my strength within me.”
I hope you have had the opportunity to download the resources for this Season of the Spirit to prepare your at-home worship spaces or for worship in the building. I also hope that you continue to feel the Pentecost Spirit as today promises to be inspiring. For worship today, I invite you to please download and open the worship guide to fully participate as you, too, are a vital participant in today’s liturgy. Peace & Blessings Dear Church ~ Pastor Dave
